Megahome Countertop Water Distiller — Home HE (MH-943TWS)
Clean, great-tasting water for your family — straight from your countertop. The Megahome Home Distiller boils tap water into steam and condenses it back into distilled water, leaving dissolved solids, heavy metals, fluoride and nitrate behind in the chamber.
- UL Listed for electrical safety under UL 1082 — this model is named on UL file E251817, so you can verify it rather than take our word for it
- 304 stainless steel boil chamber, steam dome and condensing duct — the finished water collects in a glass or PP bottle, depending on the version; if you prefer the water not to sit in plastic, choose the glass bottle
- 4 litres per batch, about 5.5–6 hours in independent reviews, at a true 100°C / 212°F
- Distillation separates non-volatile substances; the activated-carbon post-filter then handles chlorine, taste and volatile compounds. See what it does and does not remove
- Automatic shut-off at the end of the cycle · no plumbing, no installation
- Suited to drinking water, coffee and tea, steam irons, humidifiers, plants and aquariums. For a CPAP or any medical device, follow that device manufacturer's instructions

Specifications
Intended use and limits
A household drinking-water distiller, for drinking water and general domestic or office use.
It is not a medical device, not a sterilizer and not a laboratory water system. It distils at 100°C at atmospheric pressure — below the temperature and pressure sterilization requires — and does not kill bacterial spores.
- Do not use it to clean, disinfect or sterilize medical or dental instruments. That requires a validated autoclave.
- The water it makes is purified water, not sterile water. Do not use it to prepare water for injection, wound irrigation or contact-lens solution.
- Distil water only — never petroleum products, isopropyl alcohol, high-concentration alcohol or other hazardous liquids.
With a CPAP or any other medical-adjacent device, follow that device manufacturer's instructions.
